Whether it is photography, gardening, design, illustration, writing, singing, song-writing, poetry, baking, teaching, parenting, playing an instrument, construction, starting a new business, doing hair, automotive, pondering, or whatever it may be, all of us have the capacity to create.

Whenever I am stressed or having a hard time focusing on something, I have found it helpful to take a quick break to do something creative. Or even when I am not stressed, it does us good to do something creative. Personally, I like to write songs and/or poetry, doodle (though I am NOT good at it!), take pictures, or design.

So today’s ABLE Daily Challenge is to CREATE SOMETHING.

The quote that inspires today’s challenge comes from President Dieter F. Uchtdorf’s October 2008 General Conference address “Happiness, Your Heritage.” #ldsconf

“Creation brings deep satisfaction and fulfillment. We develop ourselves and others when we take unorganized matter into our hands and mold it into something of beauty…

“The more you trust and rely upon the Spirit, the greater your capacity to create. That is your opportunity in this life and your destiny in the life to come.”

So go out there and create something! I have found that creating enables me to have a better life every day!

Share in the comments what you created!

P.S. Here is a short video that is from the same talk:
